EDSL 320: Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech and Hearing Mechanism

This fully online course requires one, live, online chat per week on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Explores the anatomy and physiology of speech and hearing including respiration, phonation, resonance, articulation and perception. An introduction to the central and peripheral nervous system also provided.
Also offered as BIOL 320. Students may not receive credit for both.
Enrollment restricted to students who have completed the Lower-Division General Education requirment in Life Science (B2).
Non-CSUSM Students: This class has 1 or more pre requisites. In order to add this class
you will need to bring documentation ( ex: unofficial/official
transcript) showing you have completed the course prerequisites or the
equivalent to Extended Learning for review.
