VUSD Teacher Leadership Academy


*This registration is for participating teachers interested in earning California State University, San Marcos units. You may register for 3 units of credit at $80 per unit (confirmed by the first session).*


The Program: VUSD has renewed the spirit of creating a community of school leaders from teacher‐leaders from across the district. In partnership with VUSD schools, district and county leaders, this year‐long professional development program comprised of engaging seminars, shadowing experiences, and activities that are closely aligned with the real‐world work of school teachers. The content is grounded in Educational Testing Service (ETS) Teacher Leadership Standards for teacher leaders who want to continue to lead within their schools/department.

of Curriculum and Instruction and Barbara Franklin, President of Vista Teachers Association.
