Field Experience in Human Development

Supervised experience providing service in health and human services setting. Students will spend approximately eight (8) hours per week, for a minimum of 90 hours during the semester, in a child, adolescent and/or adult human services organization. Students will participate in service delivery, conduct observations, attend weekly class meetings, read related material and prepare written reports.

May be repeated for a total of six (6) units, but no more than three (3) units of credit may be applied toward the major. Enrollment Requirement: All Human Development Preparation for the Major coursework. Students must have attended a re-course orientation offered the prior semester.

 Note: Matriculated students MUST register using their MyCsusm portal.

**Non-matriculated students: This class has 1 or more pre requisites. In order to add this class you will need to bring documentation ( ex: unofficial/official transcript) showing you have completed the course pre-requisites or the equivalent to Yolanda Weedon in CRA 6202 for review. If it is determined you meet the requirements to enroll in this class you will be given a pre-requisite waiver form and permission number.
