Survey of major world regions and their major countries. Study of specific geographical circumstances and geographical concepts, including an emphasis on physical geography. Focuses on processes and issues such as development and under-development; population and migration; race, class, and gender; technology and economic growth; natural resources and the environment, and conflict and cooperation within a world regional framework.
May not be taken for credit by students who have received credit for GEOG 202, 301 or 302.
